Lillian Sullivan
September 24, 1927 - August 27, 2012
SULLIVAN, Lillian Helen ( nee Mucci )
Passed away peacefully, at Brampton Civic Hospital surrounded by her family on August 27, 2012 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Adrian Sullivan for more than 60 years. Cherished mother of Lisa Timney (nee: Sullivan) and husband Patrick, and Martin Sullivan. Loving Nana of Brandon Timney and Brittany Roberts (nee Timney) and husband Dean. Born to Daniel and Rosina Mucci, one of nine children, Lillian was the last surviving member of her family. Growing up in the Junction area of Toronto, once married she and Adrian moved to their first home in Rexdale, then to Woodbridge and four years ago to their home in Rosedale Village in Brampton. One of Lillian's great passions was music. Over a span of fifty years, her gift for singing and teaching touched more lives than we can ever know. Lillian had a zest for life and a fighting spirit. Much of this summer was spent in hospital dealing with various health concerns. The family wishes to express our deepest thanks for the exceptional care, compassion and support received from the entire medical team at Brampton Civic Hospital, particularly the team in the ICU.
While too numerous to mention here, special thanks to Drs. Mistry, Kundhal and Ciric and nurses.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Scott Funeral Home, 7776 Kipling Avenue, Woodbridge, Ontario 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral and celebration of her life to be celebrated at Bramalea Baptist Church ( 9050 Dixie Road, Brampton ) at 10:00 a.m. After a brief reception in the church hall, interment Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga, Ontario..
If desired, donations to Brampton Civic Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
